Well done. Looked like the ammo belt was a little empty there at the end.

Look at it this way. You made the cost per shot much lower.

Yes it's cocked, and it has bullets too!!!

It goes to show you it's the first shot that counts. The rest? Misses except for the last one?

I should have the kudu video up soon. The rifle used was a borrowed rifle. The ammo was a variety of stuff. The first shot was a 500gr Hornady solid which I tried before starting the hunt and found them to hit center. The rest of the shotts were 480 gr PMP brass solids that I guess shot a little high on the shoulder. All the shots I took hit the buff including the running shot-that hit through the hind leg and scrotum.

All considering there is some good calm shooting there on your behalf. Good PH.

Nice video. Well done. Looked like a pretty good poke to me. How far was the buff at the first shot?

BTW, I shoot all my buff in the scrotum too. I find it to be much more challenging. Wink

Good job George. I can't seem to get the video to play on my wireless setup but I was wondering what was the spread on your buff?

Very well done! Hardly looked like you broke a sweat.

You didn't have to shoot him in the balls though Wink If that didn't get him to charge, nothing would.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."
