I received calls and e-mails from many AR members. Thank you everyone for your encouragement to stay on AR.

Glad that you have reconsidered!! It was certainly an unfortunate situation and post by ChuckWagon that I am sure he regrets. In the end, he at least took the high raod and asked to have his membership cancelled. Perhaps others/other will follow suit. Again, I am glad that you have reconsidered, hope that in fact we can let this incident pass, and look forward to your future posts!!!

I have been on AR for a very long time, although less frequently inthe last couple of years.

Frankly, I have no idea who you are, or what the Carmelo thread was...

However, I've seen many, many people talk shit about Saeed, Ray Atkinson, and a bunch of other people that didn't deserve shit talk.

They never got put off by swine that would try to put them down, and they are still here.

Saeed has taken a pile of abuse, yet he still continues to fund AR, and I have always admired how thick of skin he has been, to ignore people expressing thier free speech, even when viscious rhetoric has been directed to him.

It has always struck me as ironic that Saeed sometimes gets slammed for speaking his mind, by people that supposedly are champions of free speech????

Anyways, I dont' know who you are, or what happened, since I haven't been to the African forums for awhile, but it looks like you have alot of support, and you are staying, and that sounds good to me...

Kathi: Glad you're staying. This is one of the few hunting/shooting sitest worth attending.
I think in part this is because there is little censorship. I've been insulted on the internet a few times as well, but the vast majority of the people here are good folks.

Glad your staying! Your posts really help all of us stay current on the African hunting front. Occassionally, on forums, people express things that never would be spoken on a face to face meeting. That doesn't make it right, just a fact.
The African site is the place for all of us who love to hunt and enjoy Africa and you contribute more than most.

Fortunately, I was in South Africa for the whole shooting match, or was it a skunk contest? While Kathi has posted much of value on these boards and it would have been a tragedy to see her go, I would have respected her decision and understood the reason for it. Count me as one who thinks the outcome of this is for the good. We have Kathi back. The other eedjut is gone. Life is better for the sum of the above.
