I'm not taking a stance against or for fracking here , but it would be interesting to know where the Jouberts stand on the whole thing....

Some while ago when the upcoming hunting ban was being discussed here, I said (several times) that I'd bet the Govt wanted to get us whities out of the areas because they had an ulterior motive such as diverting water from the Delta or other dodgy reason that they were keeping quiet about.

Seems I might have been right. Mad

obviously Khama's bribe from the oil/gas industry was bigger than his bribe from Wilderness Safaris/ the Jouberts' friends, etc… like they always say- FOLLOW THE MONEY!

I wouldn't be in the least surprised if he'd taken money from both parties. rotflmo

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.
