Anyone have any 400gr. bullets for sale for a 400/450? Woodleigh makes .408 diameter but they have not run a batch since the fire. Best, Tom Van Diepen 541-403-1077 tvandiepen101@gmail.com

Woodleigh bullets are very scarce, and they are the only source of that diameter besides some custom makers like Hawk. Perhaps you could consider purchasing a push through swage die from NOE bullet moulds? It should be no problem swaging a more standard .410" bullet to .408"

If you have machine shops close to you that use CNC machines, it is relatively easy for them to make you some out of copper rod.

Years ago I bought a CORBIN machine and dies to make large bore bullets.

Worked great.

But the limitations were that I was stuck with
The fact the each set of dies made one bullet diameter and weight.

So I bought a CNC lathe.

With this I make ever conceivable size or weight.

With G CODE a new bullet can be designed and made in minutes.

You may want to try Hawk Bullets. They advertise 0.408” diameter bullets for sale.

Lee makes reasonable push thru sizer dies as well, as others have said should be no problem sizing down .410 bullets

Is this the rifle that you had the barrells slugged? Right barrel is .404 and left barrel is .406. Did the Hawk bullets work?

This is a die I made to size .416 Hornady bullets down to .411 for my 400 Holland & Holland.

Easy to make if you have lathe access.
