If any of you is willing, I will give you the GPS co-ordinates and you can recover it from under the icy water. There is no need for me to tell you WHO dropped it!

David CulpepperAt least you did not allow Walter to lie on the bear rug with his bare ass sticking out. (That was kinda of a thing once with baby pictures).

Good Hunting,

So how about a hunt report?

bluefinWas that Walter doing his impression of a young Burt Reynolds? My eyes hurt! LOL
Saeed,
Make sure there are no missing hairs on that bear. Walter may have confiscated a few...

buckeyeshooternice looking rug!
Saeed,
What did the skull measure?
What did the hide square?
The bear, not Walter.

boom stickGorgeous polar!
Congrats!
Walter,
You and Saeed are both behaving very strangely over this bear!
I think it is a very nice fake of some kind ...
Are you faking us out or what?

safari-lawyerLooks like good times to me. With Roy, Alan, Walter, and Saeed all under one roof I bet there was no shortage of jokes and laughs.

Use Enough GunI feel another Walter story coming on as to what happened to the camera and the photos! Tell us,
Saeed!

Walter,
We are going nowhere with the "trophy polar bear story"
so please just tell us a "Walter Story!"
You are surely a "trophy friend" to Saeed, Roy, and all the members of this website whom you entertain with your comedy schtick.
The true measure of a trophy bear is the skull measurement.
I suppose we could pretend the measure of a "trophy friend" is his U.K.-system hat size times 2.
For example, if Walter's hat size is 7-1/2,
then his "Boone and Crockett Score" is 15".
Still would love to see the polar bear skull, instead of the fake teeth mounted in that rug.
Is that a real rug?

Rip,
I have a better idea -why not have the AR membership contribute to writing a "personals" ad to accompany this picture:

Dr. Mike H.You might want to remind Walter that usually people are photographed naked on a bear rug. But I don't think anyone would be able to look at the pictures without getting sick.
This has always been one of my favorites, but now that I have seen Walter on the rug....
Well this is still my favorite.

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.
Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.
