Okay.....I didn't want to hijack wetdog2084's thread regarding deer in Africa. However, someone posted a link to an outfitter in RSA that offers hunts for many different exotic species, and while browsing through his website.....I found this picture:

Does anybody know the story behind this? I'm curious as to how a Tiger was legally hunted in South Africa.....

I have heard about people shooting tigers in South Africa, but that is the first time I have ever seen a picture of one that was taken there. Bet you would never get a permit to take it out of the country.

That' a shame. I don't care if it's dead or stoned that has NOTHING to do with hunting.

I would say that you would have to be a lot more afraid to have your picture taken with it, than you would be to shoot it!

Is it me or is that cat tiny??? Look at the "ph's" hand and arm. I think they are way behind the cat. That ph looks like a freak of nature.

What a joke, who wants to hunt the Camroon Pygmy Goat at the bottom of the link. Let me guess you hunt them out of a blind baited with milk in a bottle. They even have domestic cows with big horns(Watusi?) listed.

Small, young tiger. I guess I am really vain but I could not hunt with a PH that looked like a British Invasion hard rocker. I hope no one from AR books a hunt with them.

Maybe we could ask him to a driven tiger hunt with beaters.

Put 20-30 big tigers in a 200 acre pen, and stand on the back of some very broke Asiatic elephants (I'll pass on the African variety), and go to town on them with Browning belt fed BAR rifles.

I have several, slightly smaller, cats that I have worked extensively to pattern over the last year that I am now ready to book hunts for. Monday, being garbage collection day, the cats can be hunted Sunday evenings from what is sometimes referred to as a machan, and other times referred to as a back porch. PM me for prices and available dates.

A very close friend of mine just returned from hunting with this outfitter, she completed her Caprinae Slam with a Cameroon Pygmy Goat. She took it with a spear and they expect it to be the new SCI record, there will be a complete story in the next SCI mag. Here is a pic of her with the trophy

Exactly. That argument has always been a total cop out crock of shit, even though some of the biggest names on AR keep wheeling it out.

Yep, took the words right out of my mouth...

And Milo, you are correct, it is a total crock of shit. When one has to look to the law for their morality it shows a lack of morality therein... pitiful.

Thanks Mauser - I wondered how long it would take some on here to figure out it's not a real life photo???? Now everyone can calm back down and stop the bashing and worrying themselves sick.
