Experienced double rifle handlers like Todd who do want to get in close have pushed the boundaries of the hunt for it to become dangerous. He excepts this and it cool with it. Most of the first timers I have hunted have spent quite a bit of time in close proximity to DG and have only been asked to shoot once they have calmed down and started to enjoy the experience. Then again I have very little experience with elephant and these animals are in a difference class altogether.
