I am looking for a "Family hunt" in Namiba for me and my 2 kids ages 12 and 14. I am a single parent and I can't afford the $300 dollars a day per person. The kids would like to hunt plainsgame with nothing particular on there list. A package hunt would be great. Please let me know if there are any outfitters that may offer this kind of hunt

Thanks

I'm sure that several game farms would be happy to cut you a deal for you and your kids, perhaps something like charging the 2x1 price for two hunters instead of three. Although many charge more, the game farm I hunted has kept their 2x1 price at 120E, which right now converts to $168. Many of the more common game animals like springbok, oryx, and warthog (which despite being common are still great trophies and exciting to hunt) carry trophy fees as low as $200 to $400 on some farms.

Check some of the game farm websites and drop them an email describing your situation. I'll bet you get some favorable responses that will offer you and your kids an affordable hunt. The bigger question is, can you find affodable air fare?

Find someone you like a just ask them! I noticed a few years ago that someone in Dallas had a seperate day rate for kids published. Not sure why most don't at least mention on their web pages like "email for dayrate for families" or such.

PM sent too!
