Good day to you you all, Sorry I've been out of touch, it's been hectic here. Reckon I'll be out of touch for quite a lot longer in the days to come! Hi everyone, We are at the Msuna Fishing Camp - below Deka Drum and just before the Gwaii river. 140k's from the Falls as the dove wings but in reality we have walked much further than that - gorges and a sidetrip to Batoka Gorge have seen to that! It has been grueling for me but Jephita is doing very well. I have suffered some serious blisters but all healed now. Feeling much stronger than I did 10 days ago! I am in a rush here as we want to get back on the road again, but will post a better report ASAP - maybe from Binga in a few days time. There has been an awful mistake with the pricing of 'The Shangaan Song'. Please be assured that IT IS NOT $65 and I am writing the relevant people now. It should be closer to $20 - I don't know what's going on on that front obviously, being in the bush and all! Cheers, David | |||

David, if you can find an ointment called Preparation H (sold here in the US as a hemorrhoid treatment) use it on your blisters, then bandage the area well, using moleskin inside your shoe/boot. This is one of the best healing treatment for blisters that you can find. I'm not kidding, it works. I used it last year in Zim after trailing a big Kudu for miles. Keep us posted when you can.
