Was at the convention this year for 3 days but unfortunately plane broke and we did not arrive till 530pm Wednesday.
Did have a great time seeing old friends and making new ones. I did walk the entire floor of the convention and spoke to many exhibitors. My wife sat out in the hall in the rockers and had a great time people watching... some if the outfits are out of this world...
Got to see Badger Matt and wife and Frank Beller and wife. On a lighter note my wife found a wallet that was filled up cabbage. I took it to SCI table in the hallway and we then took it to the Music Center people and counted it in front of them and all Id and names were in wallet and it was returned to the owner with all inside. A happy ending...

I need to go look at my notes, and see if I talked to him. I was trying to see if I could find a reasonable Ibex hunt but not sure they really exist, haha.

I attended Wed, Thurs, and Sat. Also went to Sat Evening dinner/auction/show. Everything was great from my point of view. Nashville was SO MUCH NICER than Vegas.
A couple of nit picks for next year:
- Tables and chairs on outside walls near food booths. Sitting on the floor to eat is not good.
- Aisles were narrow but I have no suggestions to fix that.
An old Army buddy attended for the 1st time. He lives in Clarksville so just drove down. Was adamant that he would only come on Thursday. He came back on Saturday cause it was "so fantastic". Swore he'd get a 4 day pass next year.

It was indeed a great show. I live near so my only issue as always is traffic. We now have 6 times the number of people living in our county than 10 years ago. It was nice to see friends (Larry) and make new ones but I missed many of you. It was indeed a busy show from the start. For me seeing the Wesley Richards side by side for $110,000 was a "Wow" moment. For many outfitters, their prices haven't change all that much, but some have been forced to raise costs due to operating costs, fuel, food and normal supplies. I do believe next year things will settle down a bit and SCI should have open ears to any issues Exhibitors encountered so they can be addressed. A lot of good hunts are available for 2023 and beyond. LDK

There were definitely some issues on the load out for exhibitors. SCI is aware of this and already working on this.
