I just tried Travelocity again and now..no rooms available.
I booked with the hotel direct for wife and I in the Atlantis tower, King, non smoke, $120 night.

You can borrow money but you can not borrow time. Go hunting with your family.

Well it took until early Sun. morning but Kathi kept watching and watching and now I have a room at the Atlantis at the Travel Hero rate which is MUCH less expensive than booking direct with Atlantis.
Thanks for the call and the concern Kathi....most appreciated.

So earlier today, here I was, sitting at on the patio at one of my favorite restaurants down on the Riverwalk in beautiful downtown San Antonio drinking mimosas. The dappled sun was shining down - life is great! Then, my cell phone rang - it was my buddy Mims-ie letting me know about this. Saving money is always a good day!!

So, now, thank you Mims (and Kathi), Jerry & I are booked into Atlantis!

They send a Hula dancer to your room every night.

Mims said he was real nice, but despite that, I declined the "tropical theme".

No listing for the Atlantis today on Travelnow, and Travelocity says "not available". Must be AR sold them out.

I surprises me that these rooms even come up at these prices during what obviously is a peak in the season...

That said, I got mine! clap

Got so consumed by working in the basement that it took a call from a friend to remind me, but then I got'r done in a few minutes at Travelhero. I guess I'll be coming down once more!
