Hello all...as a first post by a new member around here...I thought this thread fitting.

My first safari, 1st animal was in impala...followed by several more impalla, a kudu, warthog and blesbuck.

Can't wait to go back and get onto buffalo!

An Impala at 50 yards with a 7x64mm in 2004. Two bucks were fighting over the girls, the stopped, looked at us, then went back to fighting. Testosterone tops survival I guess.

First day in 1983: Cape buffalo at 35 yards. Seven shots with a .458 over the next 45 minutes. Kudu and sable followed over the next three days in Zimbabwe's Matetsi, followed by gemsbok and springbok a week later on Rooipoort Estate in South Africa.
