Boyt Harness Company. Find them online. And Cabelas carries them also. If you have the time find a saddle or leather shop and have a pair made of leather. Much more quiet than canvas. But you can't go wrong with the Boyts.

Craig, Cabela's carries a number of styles and materials. They have a super quiet wool; poly-cotton; "silent suede" w/Gore-Tex; snake gaiters; etc. They can be found in the 2004 Special Limited edition master catalog, pages 344-345. I'm sure their sales people can find it if you want to call them 24/7. Cost runs $50-$70. 1-800-237-4444 for Customer Service or you may find them listed online at www.cabelas.com
Good hunting, David

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

I used a fantastic pair of chaps from Filsons, ankle to upper thigh, open butt, that strap on to your belt for everything from bird hunting to Coes deer hunting in Mexico for years. They have worked great.

Check out equestrian shops. Riders use them with street shoes as a poor mans substitute for riding boots. The ones I've seen here in Stockholm are un-treated canvas and very nicely made. They would be fantastic for warding off thornbrush and the like.
