Yes, I've heard great things about the accuracy of the R25.

I had no idea these rifles were capable of such accuracy.

What does that R-25 in 308 weigh in at?

My 6.8 stag is 7 lb.
My 308 Scar is 8.5 lb.
My Armalite AR-10 in 338 fed is heavier than an M-14 and is a truck gun.

I've been wanting to buy one of those 308 R-25s; good to hear they are that good of shooters.

My AR10t is heavy, very heavy and should have been sold with a gun bearer. Mine is 7.62 and is very accurate.

Ended up having a 308 Scar sent in from Florida, the election got me nervous and I'm going to pick up a R-25 come Spring from my closest gun shop, 200 miles down the road, when the road opens in April. THis gun shop always has a R-25 in stock. I keep hearing great things about the R-25s.

Are the R-25s made by DPMS or assembled by DPMS, or neither?

Yah, gas guns in .243 are pretty accurate. I've got an older Armalite AR-10T in .243 with a 26" mike rock bbl on it. It can shoot 1/2 moa fairly consistently. I wish it had tighter twist as I'd like to play with the 105 vld bergers. I also had the -10T in .308 with the Lothar Walther bbl. It would pile 125 gr ballistic tips right on top of each other. I had to sell that in a moment of financial weakness. What powder are you running in your R25 .243?

Damn right its loaded, it makes a lousy club. -JW

What magazines do the R25s use? M14? FAL? Proprietary? If proprietary, are extra mags readily available? What are they charging for them? There's no point in getting an autoloader of this type unless you can find and afford at least several magazines.
