http://www.tacticalsol.com/ar-22-series-uppers/ I bought an AR-22 LT and a "bloop" muzzle attachment. The bloop tube makes it very pleasant to be on the shooting end. http://www.amazon.com/KAK-INDU...i_detailpage_o00_s00 The bad number one issue - the picatiny is on the smallest side of spec in terms of width - all optics had to be tightened done A LOT to provide tight fit. the not so bad tight chamber - several of the JUNK brand, remington thunderbolt (total CRAP ammo) but in many cases the only 22 available during the Obama drought) the I wish it where different i'd prefer a FAST twist barrel, to shoot SSS ammo - The good it just works - feeding - with blackdog machine mags, there were no issues on fail to feed with any other ammo, other than remington thunderCRAP. accuracy - on my lower, which has been pretty good for a couple different uppers, including my 2 dissapators, wasn't "awesome" - I am comparing my 144LS, which is AWESOME, to a tweaked 10/22 to the LT -- about an inch or so at 35 yards, and about 3.4 at 100 yards, with a holo sight (Sightmark Ultra Shot Pro Spec Sight NV QD - not bad sight) it was a bit tighter for the nikon 2x7 buckmaster -- though, frankly, i wasn't trying to wring out every bit of accuracy, that might be another post. weight - LIGHT -- about 2.8#, or a pound lighter than an m4 upper - the barrel is a "shrouded" soda straw-- looks like a stainless liner within a light weight barrel -- think something like the christenson barrels the thundercrap ammo was about 50% larger groups, though, again, i wasn't really trying for groups - the "bench" i was using, well, let's just say it was rustic I like it, it eats most 22 ammo just fine - i expect its too light for serious attempts at pinwheel shooting, even with the bloop tube to put some weight up front. It is accurate enough for rabbit hunting, and likely to be a GREAT AR trainer. ps - i'll be other some more blackdog mags, with the stainless load lips opinions vary band of bubbas and STC hunting Club Information on Ammoguide about the416AR, 458AR, 470AR, 500AR What is an AR round? Really for the price I'll buy more 10-22s. Not enough different in handing to justify an expensive upper. Or just buy a AR22 of some type rather have one more working firearm then just an upper.

I fully understand and agree. A 10/22 or an old mossberg target gun is far more accurate and have their place in training. For retail, you can buy a stainless 10/22, rebarrel, restock, and replace trigger. I bought mine as a want not need. My niece wanted an ar but she is tiny, and already shoots a 10/22 well. This will allow her to be fully cognizant of the platform and have a recoil free experience. My 10/22s are all more accurate at 100, but for the fun of it, I'll keep it opinions vary band of bubbas and STC hunting Club Information on Ammoguide about the416AR, 458AR, 470AR, 500AR What is an AR round? I use an S&W M-P 15-22 with threaded muzzle and a red dot for practice and (suppressed) fun. It's a nice tool to familiarize newbies to the AR platform. George
