I'm shooting a DPMS SASS the rounds I reload for it are at the top of the recommended load for varget powder (46grns) I was wondering if I should get a stronger spring or buffer to help with the cycling. I haven't had a problem but I don't want the rifle beating its self to death. Any and all advise is welcome but please keep it constructive. I would like to keep the load as it shoots it really accurately. 1 shot 1 thrill

i have an Enidine in my r25 .. which is a dpms in sheeps clothing .. and a flat round spring. i like it.. and i use pretty good loads in mine.. can't tell you if it will keep the buffeting down, but i like how it slows the cycle down opinions vary band of bubbas and STC hunting Club Information on Ammoguide about the416AR, 458AR, 470AR, 500AR What is an AR round? Tubb makes a carrier weight system to change the dynamics of the BCG from light and fast to heavy and slower ( same energy, just delivered differently). Also, Tubbs flat wire buffer spring makes a big difference in all my ARs- both in recoil impulse, function and longevity. Also, stay in the correct powder range for the AR- medium fast powders and you'll be okay wear and tear wise.
