anyone use McGowen 556 barrels on their AR? (and my next build)

I have ALWAYS been pleased with their barrels in my bolt guns ...

anyone used one on an AR? I ordered mine today ..

16.5, stainless, modified hbar, wylde, 1:9, rifle position tube (yes, i KNOW

)

will use a YHM popup front sight .. i LIKE those, and a "linear" compensator -- i have used the dpms one before, but going to try a kaw this time.. it looks cooler

likely a DPMS carbon fiber forearm.

hogue ergo or "fatboy" grip (i like the later)

havent decided on stock or trigger...

opinions vary band of bubbas and STC hunting Club

I use a McGowen barreled 458 socom AR, very accurate and no fouling problems. No experience with one in 5.56.

mine shoots great - had to open the port to .094 as it was at about 85% function due to being under gassed - I'll try again another day on .094 and see -- it may need to go even more, but let's take it in steps.
