Would appreciate the opinions of this rifle from those much more knowledgeable than I.

Thanks

I've or have them in .220 Swift, .250 Savage, .243 Win., .270 Win. .404 Nitro and .30-06. Nice rifles, no problems, no complaints, some of early ones not drilled on rear bridge, but drill or supplied with peep sights. Generally, rather nice, but not fancy wood, well finished and inletted.

I've owned more factory FN Deluxe & Supreme sporters than any other rifle, between 30-40. Next to commercial Brnos and pre-war Oberndorf sporters, no better mass produced bolt rifle, and definetly the best value on the used market.

I went ahead and bought it. It is a factory original in 9.3x62 with Hensoldt scope in Jaeger QD mount/rings.
