Anyone know if the Featherweight stocks are lighter than the standards? I know the FW barrel is slenderer, of course, and there is a dural guard and floorplate assembly. I have a standard here but no FW to compare it to.

Featherweight stocks are lighter than standards..They have two extra holes in the buttstock which serve to lighten them up. Their fore-end contour is also trimmer.....

In addition, the featherweight stock dfoes not have the barrel boss screw hole that the standards do. There are only 3 holes; 2 for the trigger guard and 1 for the floor plate.
