Model of 1917 .45 ACP

Are there black hard rubber grips that have the word "Colt" incorporated into them, as were sold on vintage Colts, available new/old that fit the '17 frame?

Thanks.

You may be aware of this already, but if you are asking about "original" grips for the M1917 .45acp revolver, they were all produced with smooth walnut grips, as per the government contract specifications.

Both the Colt and S&W M1917 revolvers were built on established frames from both companies, used for the civilian market. I am unsure if the hard plastic Colt marked grips were ever used on any of these civilian models.

The above is strictly from memory and I have not researched the question in reference books.
