When did Winchester first offer the model 54 in 7mm, 7.65mm & 9mm and also in the "sniper" configuration? I'm trying to date a Winchester catalog that has no date of publication or copywrite. It was published sometime between 1925, when the model 54 was introduced, and prior to 1930 when the model 21 shotgun was cataloged.

The Mod 54 Sniper's rifle was introduced in 1929. If the catalog you mention shows or talks about the Sniper's Rifle, it would have to be the 1929 catalog, since I assume the Mod 21 is not mentioned.

You are welcome. FYI, the book Winchester by R.L. Wilson is my source of knowledge. A great book that I have found of benefit time and time again.

Thank you for the response. I spent a fair amount of time researching the question on line without results. I appreciate your sharing your knowledge.
