Just got back, sore legs from walking! Not many great deals but lots of great guns. Did manage to pick up a good project gun, an old custom FN Deluxe in 300 H&H, will be nice with a new stock and modern optics.

I only had Saturday to scrounge around..but Lordy, Lordy, I had a great time...Sold all three of the guns I took along as trading stock...picked up 2 nice vz24s at a good price, also found a 600 rem mohawk action with a 22-250, 24" fluted barrel in a mohawk 650 stock..for a great price.. I was sorely tempted by several other good deals..and am still kicking myself for letting that 22 cal. beretta get away from me.... shouldnt have passed on that deal....

Saw several very reasonably price custom rifles in 35 whelen, 338-06, and 257 Roberts AI...very tempted yes!! Big Grin What a great time!! jump

Well, this is no Ottmar, but not bad for $400, a 300H&H FN stocked like a Weatherby with a B&L Balvar in Buehler mounts. Will look better in a new stock.
