my amt 1911 government model has no markings on the slide.it appears to be an original amt slide as the sights are the same as on other amt 1911 models.has anyone seen this on other amt 1911 gunsis there any significants to this?I am curious,thanks for any info I can get,mike | ||

AMT's had markings that were oxid'ed on (or something similar to that) and very thin. If the slide had ever been re-polished or "scrubbed" they would have disappeared. Don't sweat it.
