These are neat old guns. I have one which I think is in similar condition to yours. (pics below).


A friend of mine did the centerfire conversion for it and I shoot it every once in a while. Lee makes dies for the 41 Swiss. I shoot Berry's 280 grain .429 pistol bullets in it with 17 grains of Blue Dot powder. I make the brass out of 348 Winchester cases.

I paid $450 for mine a couple of years ago
and I was happy to get it. Excellent, fine
bore. Matching numbers.

It's a fun project working with these guns.

fellow who goes by Parashooter. He is
available on the Swiss Rifles Message board
by that handle.

Lee's dies have become available since he
