My wife has a challenger bow (made in Canada) which is just a beginner's bow with a 40# max draw weight. Plane jane pins and a cobra release with quiver and aluminum arrows.

I don't remember what we paid, but a friend at work wants to buy it for his son and I don't know how much to ask.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Used bows typically do not sell for what they are worth.Often only getting a fraction of their cost at resale. That said , it is worth whatever your friend is willing to pay.

If he is truely a friend then let him have it for a hundred bucks. If he is a good friend make it a gift. The boy will see you as a hero, at least for a while.

We seldom get to choose
But I've seen them go both ways
And I would rather go out in a blaze of glory
Than to slowly rot away!
