I just received my new Benjamin 600 Airbow. What an awesome piece of hunting equipment.
I started bow hunting wit a recurve in the late 70's then went to compound, then when they became legal in my state I went to a crossbow. I gave that up a few years ago when my arthritis would not let ne even crank a crossbow. Then I heard about airbows being approved with a disability permit. After a small amount of paperwork I got my permit. Now I am sighting in my airbow. WOW this thing shoots a 26' arrow at over 600 feet per second. So far it is dead on out to 40 yards with the first mark on the scope. Anyone in my situation or who just wants to try something new, these airbows are awesome. If you already own a PCP air gun all you have to invest in is the bow.


If your parents didn't have any children chances are you won't either.

It's fantastic that technology like the Airbow exists to keep people in the field despite physical challenges. Getting a new tool that works that well is always exciting.

Thanks for sharing your experience with it. That kind of first-hand report is really valuable for others who might be considering one for the same reasons. Enjoy getting out there with it!
