I was riding my 4-wheeler back to check a coon trap and i saw two deer run up ahead. So i stopped the 4-wheeler and they just went a short distance. The doe stopped and the antlered deer came up from behind and well..... you read the title you know what happened next. So the rut is still on here, southwestern WV. I already got a 5 pt in rifle season, so i can't get another buck. But i can still get a bow buck so i'm gonna give it a try.

Today i rifle shot a 4 pt and i'm pretty sure it was this same one i saw having relations last week. Although i didnnt get a point count last week, it looks the same from the back of its head. Big body. It was bringing up the rear following two does.

OHHHHHH,,,, this is a correction...found out you can get two bucks, not one, so it was legal.
