I was looking at an ad for a Carbon Tech Pursuit and noticed in the Specs that the Letoff is adjustable from a 55% Letoff to 80% Letoff. I've been thinking about it and don't know why a person would want a 55% Letoff when they coulod adjust it for 80% Letoff. Is there some "advantage" to using a 55% Letoff in comparison to an 80% Letoff?

Finger shooters tend to not like much let-off. For me the more the better, I'm not as strong as I used to be. (I only draw 60 pounds) ________________________________________________ Maker of The Frankenstud Sling Keeper Proudly made in the USA Acepting all forms of payment

If one enters an animal in the Pope & Young record book any kill using a bow over 65% let off will have an asterik (*) placed next to it. Not really sure of the reasoning behind this... but it could be a consideration to some bowhunters. Yep the P&Y issue is one reason. You can also get more speed out a bow with less let off. 55% let off stores more energy than 80%. It's also a generally ignored tuning adjustment but it can be very useful.
