(Picture could be better; camera needs adjustment.)

I already have a Kenco straight shooter, but got this Game Country, Day II Feeder because it dispenses more feed up to 16 times daily. It's 49.99 from Cabelas for the motor unit only. Welded some 9" lengths of pipe to the bottom of the container which slides over metal fence posts for legs.

Whereas the Kenco only allows two feedings per day, the Day II allows 16 feedings per day, including pre-dawn and post dusk. Right now, i have it set for night time feedings. That way, the deer, rather than the turkeys get most of the feed.

The amount it dispenses is adjustable. It'll go up to 64 seconds and that throws out a a lot of feed. Got it set on 32 seconds.

The small switches that set the feed times are easy to use. There's nothing to program. They're either on or off and the instructions are on the inside cover plate.

The 6-volt battery slides in and the springs make contact with a metal plate. No clips to attach.

I really like it, but keep in mind my only other experience is with the Kenco.

Don't know if feeder will help much during bow season. Last year they ignored my feeder because the farmers fields were full of unharvested corn.
