My wife took this 9 point last Saturday in southeast PA. He came off chasing a doe to work a scrape under her treestand and than proceeded to give her a 20 yrd broadside shot. The deer went all of 20 yrds before falling over. The best part of it all was I got to witness it all from my location. It was only a few years ago I got my future wife into hunting. Now she can't get enough of it. The monster I created is growing out of control!

Special stuff!! Good for you both. I know what you mean about the thrill of getting to see her score. I'm as happy to see my wife down an animal as I am to do it myself.

Cheers
Jim

Thanks for all the replys. She's still pretty stoked about it. We dropped the deer off at the taxidermist last week. Yesterday was the first day of gun season her in PA. She was back out there trying to take a doe. I'm trying hard as hell for her to take a mature, old doe. Living is SE PA we have till nearly the end of JAN 2013 to hunt so there is no rush. She said she saw a young mother w/two fawns and couldn't get a shot. She (the monster I created) has a itch to shoot everything. I'm trying hard to control it Big Grin
