Guys,

Most AR members are probably familiar with Mokore Safaris in Zimbabwe and also familiar with their stellar reputation. Mokore has nearly their whole 2020 quota still available. If you can go on short notice you may be able to get some premier animals at some incredible prices. The pricing structure is set up so that the hunter pays only a PG rate and large trophy fee if successful on the cats. This could not be more fair. The buffalo hunts are just plain cheap and you can shoot as many as you can pay for. See below.

PRICING:

SENGWA RESEARCH

1X1 BUFFALO/PG 7-10 DAYS $600.00 PER DAY
*Conservation fee, road transfer and taxes are included

TROPHY FEES

Buffalo trophy $5,500 each
Buffalo non-trophy $4,500
Tuskless elephant $3,000

MOKORE RANCH ON THE SAVE

1X1 LION and LEOPARD, MULTIPLE BUFFALO 18-21 DAYS 1X1 $600 PER DAY
*Conservation fee and taxes are included
*Parks Ranger is extra at $100 per day until cats are taken

TROPHY FEES

LION $35,000
LEOPARD $12,500
BUFFALO $5,500 and you are allowed multiples.

EVEN IF YOU WERE UNSUCCESSFUL ON THE CATS YOU'D STILL HAVE AN AMAZING TIME STACKING UP THE DUGGA BOYS!

PG TROPHY FEES BOTH AREAS

Eland $2,500
Kudu $2,500
Waterbuck $3,000
Giraffe $2,200
Bushbuck $1,100
Klipspringer $900
Warthog $500
Impala $250
Duiker $290
Wildebeest $1,300
Hyena Mokore $1,500 Sengwa $750

Call me and get a good hunt in this year.

gunslinger,

Right you are. Ethiopian is the "Rock Star"of airlines in this COVID time according to Gracy Travel. They never stopped flying.

Just had two guys arrive Lusaka yesterday with all going very smoothly with Ethiopian.

I am flying from Los Angeles to Lusaka next week in coach and my total cost is $ 1,350. On the way there we stop in Harare first.

WOW! $ 600 a day and shoot a tuskless elephant for only $ 3K. It looks like I booked too early!

The only issue I am reading is the "shake down" over guns during the layover in Addis Ababa. Sounds like having a concierge may alleviate this

There is no shake down. The normal procedure is to be escorted to baggage and have your guns checked.

Pondoro,

Sent you a PM. I've seen 46" come from Sengwa and Mokore has several quality rifles to choose from. Getting rifles into Zim is pretty easy though.

Ethiopia. United from Los Angeles to Washington D.C. where I have to spend the night. Then Ethiopian to Addis Abba, Harare, Lusaka. On the way back it is straight to Addis Abba, a stop in Dublin, Ireland and then back to D.C. I have a nine hour layover in D.C. so I am meeting an old army buddy that lives there for dinner. Then United again back to Los Angeles. I am using a camp 375 for my hunt so just one checked in bag and just what I can stuff in my pockets for carry own. Ten day buffalo hunt (maybe a leopard) with Shamwari Safaris (Steven Rufus owner and PH) in the Rufunsa area on the Zambezi which is almost directly across from CM Safaris Dande concession.

mbb,

The lion is available only on Mokore Ranch. The lions are a nuisance there and your chances of taking a monster are very good.

Guys,

Where else can you get a 7 day all in buffalo hunt for $9,700.This is an all in price with a top shelf company to include daily fees, buffalo trophy fee, taxes on daily and trophies, road transfer and Conservation fee?

OR

10 day buffalo/tuskless for $14,500 all in with the same included items.

There often is bitching on AR about safari costs so here is a chance to beat the Hell out of the ordinary prices.

I hit a coyote on my road bicycle on Oct 4; broke seven ribs, shattered my clavicle, and broke my scapula. I had to cancel an elk hunt and a deer hunt in Nov is in limbo. I cannot lift my left arm more than a few inches.

I was in a great spot to take advantage of things during the GFC, but not this time.

AAZW: You must have some type of “Canine Curse”. A few years ago you got a nasty dog bite, and now a coyote crashes into you. Sorry to hear you may miss your November deer hunt, which I assume is in Minnesota. My usual November Michigan deer hunt has to be rescheduled due to health concerns of the guy I usually hunt with. Luckily, another Michigan buddy will let me hunt his property. Hope you heal fast.
