I don't think I have shown this before ,it is an optical crystal piece (the same glass that is used for scope and binocular lenses ) I hand engraved this mainly on the back of the piece with the charging bull elephant being very deeply engraved as it is the closest animal towards you, some work was engraved on the front such as the egret to give a 3D effect The size of the piece is 12inches long x 8inches high

I can't fathom the talent and patience required to achieve that level.

Thanks for sharing.

prices run from £70 ($112 US) FOR SOMETHING LIKE A WHISKY TUMBLER ENGRAVED WITH ANY ANIMAL OR BIRD
TO A VERY SPECIAL PIECE LIKE THIS ONE $1280
A piece with your portrait and your trophy animal like this one are generally around the $960- $1280 depending on complexity of work and piece of crystal chosen

David,
That is beautiful work.
Especially the portrait work.
Capturing a portrait likeness is an art in and of itself.
nice job.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."
