Last week's Aoudad is at the taxidermist and I I picked up the upright slight head turned pose.

He is about a year out from cracking into him.

Is there a better aoudad form that show cases the mane on the legs?

Just looking at that mount I would say yes there is a better form out there. There is a form which incorporates about 8 inches of the front legs, which captures all of the chaps. Some forms may be proprietary?? PM me if you like and I will share what I know.

I think my Aoudad was mounted on the form you are talking about, that displays all of the chaps, and IIRC my taxidermist chose it from a catalogue. So, I believe it is a commercial form. FWIW, mine is a wall pedestal.

McKenzies wall pedestals look the best. Jetz also makes forms with the leg extensions to keep the chaps.

My brother has a lot of examples on his page. Most of them are on McKenzies forms.

Half life size includes the entire front leg. The form we are talking about does not include the lower leg. It stops above the knee, but captures the entire chap. Also less expensive than half life size.
