Is that just a type of red deer or something else ?
Are you going to put a squirrel on the shelf behind the deer ?

Fantastic bull, congratulations. It's interesting how Maral Stag and our American Elk look identical. I wonder how far apart they are genetically?

The elk in Kazahkstan are a sub species of our North American elk. They are called Tian Shan elk because they are found in the Tian Shen Mountains. I hunted them in 1999.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

Thank you very much everyone, it was a fun hunt.

Thanks Danish, you need to do the hunts in Kirghistan and Kazakhstan, I know you will enjoy them.
