I hope Pete will not mind me putting this here rather than the Classified section...

I'm off to Dubai and offloading a rifle or two. First to go is a custom left handed Medwell & Perrett in 6.5x55. The rifle has a 22 inch barrel, 1:9 twist, and weighs 9lb 9oz. This rifle will do sub-half MOA. Timney trigger and M&Ps own pushfeed action. The floorplate magazine will take 5 rounds.

The furniture has a buffalo tip fore end and a blued steel gripcap. Nice figuring.
I had this rifle made for me in 1998.

The scope is a Swarovski 3-9x36A. Made in Austria. Type 4A reticle

I can have it shipped to a dealer worldwide, at your expense. It will go to the highest bidder and I would not take less than £3000 (US$6000) for it.

I'l attempt to put up a couple of pictures. Email me if you want to see more.

Richard, that is sweet, and a good price. I have heard of M&P rifles making twice that.

Glad I am not a lefty.

I agree with Brian, that rifle would have put me in a tough spot.

Best regards Chris

I've seen Richard shoot this rifle - a true one hole 3 shot group with 125gr partitions.

Richard,

You will regret selling this rifle!

What a beautiful rifle!

Can you tell us a bit about Medwell & Perrett, I am sadly ignorant about this gunmaker.

WOW!

I'm a lefty and it's a good thing it's on the other side of the pond.

You boys are making me blush.

Sadly the rifle and I parted company this afternoon. It has gone off to the autioneers where it will be included in their September sale. There is also a nice LH Sako 22-250, C3 Browning, 20 ga Silver Pigeon, all set up for a left hander.

Holts

I'm now left with a 7x64 to tackle my squirrel problem...

Are you saying thats not the agree reserve?

Its a pity they left the iron work on the barrel.
I could well have been tempted into bidding on your rifle if the lines had been cleaner.

Enjoy Dubai, there's some serious money to be made there.

We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that didn't read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke!!!!!
