Less than 24 hours now and I'll be on my way to begin my adventure in Argentina with Dr. Juan Pozzi and Guillermo Amestoy of AR fame. Will be hunting Buffalo, Wild Boar, shooting some doves and pigeons as well. I'll be following in the footsteps of another AR member billinthewild on this trip.

I just left Larry on Dr.Juan's hands, He departured to SF right at 7:00 PM, maybe they arrived right now, too much traffic these days in downtown, I took him yesterday to take a little trip in downtown area and we shared a nice dinner at "Viejo Lobo" ("Billinthewild" favorite BBQ place) This morning we visited "La Calera town" (Through the sneaky road into the Cordoba Hills) then we passed through the big lake, the Dam and Carlos Paz city He wanted to take a look to the native animals reserve called "Tatu Carreta". He saw the Jaguar,Water Buffalo, Maras (Patagonia hare), Ñandu (like small ostrichs), Chaja (Huge native bird (Turkey size)Fallow deer, Axis deer, Caraya Monkeys etc..., then we lunched something light at Carlos Paz & when we came back from the Hills I introduced my family, showed him some of my guns, trophies & pictures also C. Boddington Book "Big game Argentina".
I hope Larry have good luck in Corrientes with His Buffalo hunt, he deserves it, this guy is a gentleman.Tomorrow He will be hunting doves, pidgeons, during the day and hares, foxes, wilhogs on night and they will departure to Esquina on Friday for the buff & fishing.
End of the message...
Cheers
Guille

There is an excellent article by Dr. Pozzi in the last issue of MAGNUM magazine, on small game, his son, his guns and his dogs. Sort of a camp tale.
Congrats.

Hey folks - got back from Argentina last Friday to the news my Mother had passed away the day prior to my return. Have been dealing with that situation, trip to Kansas for services and to be with family and friends. I should be able to get a good report and photos up on here after the Memorial Day weekend. Thanks for the interest and have a good Holiday.
