Well... actually they are all southamerican, and in fact they can all be considered my best trophies !! Cool Big Grin

A - regretably not yet realized Frowner - meeting with Bill Berlat made me realized that some of us know each other`s wishes and ways of thinking - and behaviour under certain circumstances... but few of us know each other´s faces and families ...

So allow me to introduce my family, since I had found some very good friends here at AR ! beer

PS: To billinthewild: Sorry Bill, but these were the motives that didn´t allowed me to meet you and Ricardo last Saturday ... despite Ricardo´s continuous efforts to make that meeting possible (thanks anyway Ricardo!)

first my wife and kids

Valentina, my older daughter , 7 years old and biggest unconditional follower ... with her I learnt how right Elektra was !! Smiler

My son, Facundo (he is 5... with hope, future hunting partner !!)

Delfina, 3 years old, the youngest (and most terrible character!!)

and finally, me and my son

That´s right, my friend !!!

Sometimes I feel that too quickly, without allowing me to enjoy them as much as I would desire... but that´s life Frowner !

BTW, you surprised me with that photo ! It must be at least a couple of years old ... thanks a lot, indeed !!!

Martín: not in San Telmo but in downtown (Corrientes y Suipacha). Alas, there was a certain tango dancer.... Wink. And this is yours truly (for the other members)

I wouldn´t say that´s a bad head at all ... for me a trophy ´s worth is measured mostly by the way the hunt was made than merely by how many points or how thick it is ... of course when a thick one with many points is harvested in a satsifactory way, well that´s like touching heaven with your hands ...

My best deer is just a ten point one, but thick as my wrists ... when I started to chase him and was surprised to see how he managed to avoid me, at first I tought it was a lucky animal, but somewhere in the middle of the hunt (which lasted two days)I decided that in fact it was a wise and clever animal that had survived many hunting seasons in the hard way - and in fact he showed me how !!. and let me tell you that he demanded the best of myself to hunt him down and that´s why I respect this deer trophy as my best ...

Tell us more ! was it hunted this year? caliber used? sot distance? In two weeks from now, I am going to La Pampa looking for boars... but who knows? perhaps I might find one guampudo aswell !!

We keep in touch !

Martín: that deer was shot several years ago at almost point blank, neck shot. Why going for boars without the moon?.

That´s what I meant ! To shoot that deer at point blank surely needed great skills ... congratulations (even thou it was several years ago Wink)

My hunting trips have to be done first in accordance with the feelings and needings of the ones whose pictures I posted - and then with the moon phases Roll Eyes Wink... I am not going with the best moon phase but it is not too bad neither ...

Martin. What a wonderful family and such beautiful hijos. I am also sorry we did not have a chance to meet. But I am planning a return again this year, and perhaps we could even spend a few days together in San Francisco. I will be posting some photos in a few days.

The restaurant I went to with Ricardo was very good. The singer was very proud of himself and felt a need to shout that out to everyone. A bit more moderation in the volume would have been nice. The tango dancers were excellent and the food as well. We also dined at a restaurant called Hispano off of Avenida Mayo and Salta. It was excellent as well.

The meat in Argentina is wonderful and to prove it I know I gained at least 10 pounds.
Juan and Alberto fed me well.

Thanks Lorenzo and Bill ...

I am glad to notice you feel just as in your own home whenever you come to Argentina, Bill ... and your effort (and consequent success thumb ) to manage yourself in spanish down here speaks very well about you and your willings to spend here six months a year ... Would really like to meet you next time !

Best Regards,
Martin
