Thats a tough one, but go talk to your United States Atty office for advice is a start. then contact the state dept, be prepared for the red tape. I could have helped you more at one time, but Ive been retired to long to be in the loop..I may be able to guide you some as you progress..Ive been thru this on a couple of occasions, It can be a tough place to be when it hits the fan.. I hope this case is resolved and your friends have been found safe. However, if they are still missing here are a few questions to consider: 1. Have the local authorities been informed? 2. Is it known where they were staying, and has that location been queried and security cameras reviewed? 3. Who else was on the trip, and have they been questioned? 4. Has there been an attempt to locate and backtrack any associated electronic devices? These are just a very few basic questions from a longer list. I run a security consulting company and I have long been concerned about foreign tourists and business people traveling to Mexico. | |||
