Hey guys I'm thinking about hunting in Argentina. Has anyone ever hunted with Patagonia Hunters? I'm looking for an afordable hunt and am looking at several other countries. Namibia is already booked for May so i'm looking for something in 2014. The hunt is for both my wife and myself. We are looking at multiple animals each. I know you can't beat Africa for afordability but we want to have a bit of an adventure and I believe Argentina is the place so any info would be much apreciated.

I hunted with them in 2008 or 2009. My wife came along as a non-hunter. We had a good time at the ranch (El Oasis) and saw a lot of deer. We were a little late for the roaring but I still had opportunities to take stags all through our week there. I took an awsome stag with great crowns on the second day and hunted wild boar the rest of the week. The hunt I bought was for one stag and two boar and I was finished a couple of days early. I had the opportunity to hunt black buck at additional cost or just keep hunting pigs at no cost. The house we stayed in was very clean and the food was good. All of the staff were great and most of them could speak at least a little english. The guides were good hard working guys that knew were the game was. The ranch is rather remote and there is nothing to do but hunt, which was okay for me but the wife would have liked a little something more. We did go into a small town called Victorica one day with Augustin but we hit it at siesta time and most everything was closed. Overall, it was a good free range hunt and I liked hunting with this outfit. DRSS

Argentina is a beautiful country with a lot of history. If you get down there take some time to visit Bariloche and BA. You won't be disappointed. Have gun- Will travel The value of a trophy is computed directly in terms of personal investment in its acquisition. Robert Ruark
