For me and most of the experienced argentine hunters the question has a fast response NOTHING COMPARES WITH HUNTING IN THE MARVELOUS ANDES .
Most of the hunters agree that hunting in that beautifull mountains and hearing the stags roaring is an spectable that they will never forget.Besides that the scenary of the Patagonia is magnificent .The bad thing of this is that the expeditions usually are more expensive .But the good thing is that in the south of Argentina there are few fenced ranchs and there are really argentine stags and not imported ones and released in the ranchs.
So why we sell more bush hunts ,and the honest response is because is easier to operate and KILL a red deer there .But trust me nothing compares with hunting in Junin de los Andes or San Martin or Bariloche ,just google this places and you will agree with me .

I hunted in Santiago del Estero and would not do it again. I would much rather head to the mountains and probably will.

If you wanna go for a truly spot & stalk hunt you should aim to La Pampa. close encounters.. bow rifle or muzzle... several species besides red stag.
Not so majestic views like andes but much more adrenaline dosis per day. :-))

IMHO, nothing compares to being Red Stag hunting in Patagonia.

I know this could sound controversial for some, but La Pampa, is a place I'll never go back in my life for deer.

It's however perfect for other species.

That's debatable. We have bigger deer (moose), big bears, and bigger women dancing
