I and my partner have booked a hunting trip vicinity Santa Rosa, Argentina, in April. After the hunt, we plan on spending a few days in Buenos Aires. Our outfitter has recommended Hotel San Antonio for our stay but we are not sure. Does anyone know anything about this hotel or have a recommendation where to stay in BA while traveling with firearms. Obviously we will need to secure our firearms while in BA.

Wayne: the San Antonio seems to offer a reasonable service, being three star rated. Perhaps you may consider to contract a short term insurance for your firemars before and after your hunt. Your outfitter should know, I guess. The rooms have electronic locks, as per the hotel´s web page. Good luck

Thanks for your comment. We do have firearms insurance. I am not too concerned about the firearms as I am the quality of the hotel. Has anyone stayed at hotels they would recommend in Buenos Aires?

I have stayed here It's 5-star, about $225-250 USD per night as I recall. It was as good as any room I've had in Manhattan.

My company uses Hotel Vitrum in Palermo. It is a very quiet, safe area close to a lot of good restaurants and pubs. Almost everyone working there speaks fluent English. I have stayed there numerous times and now have an apartment a few blocks from there.
