Well, this has been their last night, tomorrow morning I am taking them to the airport. It has been a real pleasure to met these two gentlemen and fellow AR members at my country.

We don't hunt anything despite we saw a couple of axis deers, but they run like if someone want to shoot them... Big Grin

We stay at the farm house and ate an asado.

A poacher at my trail cam ??? no, it's just billinthewild caught on camera Big Grin

The last day I took them for a ride around our capital Montevideo.

Also to eat some meat at the Port Market (Mercado del Puerto)

Then to the coast, we stop at several small places.

At my father's in law house

We ended having some shrimps and squids for dinner with cold beer and back to Montevideo.

They will be leaving tomorrow to Argentina were Bill will be hunting with Juan Pozzi.

I just hope they have enjoyed their visit as much as I Cool

Amigos.....once we got to the area around Punta de Este I told Lorenzo that I died and was now in heaven. Uruguay....what did I expect? I knew from the posts back and forth over the years that Lorenzo would be a good guy, but not sure about the country.

Now I know the truth...Lorenzo is not just a "good guy," he is the best. His hospitality was very warm and filled with generosity. I felt very much at home the whole time. The country, his estancia, and the coast were marvellous...to see such beaches that go on for miles and miles, and for the most part, empty.

But it is Lorenzo that made the trip so good for us.....to him I can only say un mil gracias, and to quote Gen. MacArthur, ¨"I shall return."

More with pictures when I get more time.

I am now waiting for this Argentine cowboy and his revolver with a good coffee. coffee And then we are off to Corrientes for the buffalo with Juan Pozzi. It has been fun here as well, much of the time shooting and talking about shooting with Juan and his friends. You must make a trip over, Lorenzo, you would be most welcome.

Uruguay is now firmly printed in my memory and it is all because of you. Seeing a country is one thing, but seeing it with such fine company quite another. Be well, say hello to Federico for me. wave Thank you again.
