Bacon wrapped Allegro venison
Here's a real simple and very tasty dish that's a nice change from fried deer steaks.

Allegro Marinade, this stuff is fantastic!

Simply wrap and pin your steaks with applewood smoked bacon (thick sliced) and pour on the marinade. About 4-5 hours puts a real good taste in the meat without over powering it. No other seasonings needed.

After a long soaking off to the grill. These aren't bad cooked in the oven either but I'm a BBQ kinda guy. Cool

Finished up and ready to eat. The taste the marinade adds to the meat is simply amazing.

Well worth a try.

Terry,
You got my mouth watering with your venison. If you could share where to find the marinade I would really appreciate it. I have a tenderloin from the doe my son shot that woud be great cooked like that.

Hi Bill, I buy it Kroger locally, Walmart also sells it. If you can't get it locally I think you can order it online.

I like Allegro too. I've got some in the fridge also.

You can also try Dale's Seasoning. Really great with bacon wrapped pheasant!!!

Terry-

You did it again. Not only are you a conneseur of fine rifles but, fine food, as well.

I tried the Allegro on some bacon wrapped backstrap "fillets" as well as some prime cut NY Strip steaks and the whole household gave me rave reviews.

Thanks for the suggestion.
