I just discovered the pressure cooker! The recipe that I use is two lbs ground meat of your choice ( browned) what ever spices you like, put the browned meat, two cups water (and whatever you like ,onions, peppers, tomatoes whole or stewed ) cook at 15 lbs presure for about 15-20 minutes let the pressure drop on it's own ( take off the bruner) then add beans put back on burner till hot. This cilli taste like it was slow cooked all day, but tokes only about two hours ( this also works great on a camp stove) Thanks for reading...lost

i use 2 lbs beef, 2 lbs pork sausage, a couple onions, baseball size chopped, 2 cans rotel, 3-4 cloves of garlic mashed, 2 oz of tabasco, couple shakes of red pepper flakes like you get at a pizza place, salt to taste and enough water to make it cook for an hour....brown the beef, sausage, onion and garlic... pour off any grease, or soak it up with a paper towel as it cooks.... add the rotel, tobasco, pepper flakes and enough water to cover it all... let it cook on a slow simmer for about an hour... add more water as necessary to keep it from going dry....serve over rice, noodles, cornbread...add some grated cheese, chopped green onions or sour cream to taste...

go big or go home ........

Lostchild,
I'm surprised jimatcat didn't chew you out for putting beans in chili, be'uns he's from Texas.
Reading the two recipes made my mouth water. I like a gooood chili ,nice and hot and spicy and of course a good beer to wash it down.

Sorry Ole Miss Guy ,I don't consider Bud a good beer. Any beer paler than my piss, is not a good beer.
