Rock Pot?

I spent a good while yesterday sitting in a garage waiting for my pickup to get fixed. They had the Outdoor Channel on. There was a guy who was cooking with a Rock Pot. You heat up a flat stone in the fire, put it under a crock pot kind of kettle and it does slow cooking for when you get back to camp. Anybody use one or know where to find one? It sounds better than MRE's or cooking when I get back from tramping around all day.

Where to find one ? Just look for some big rocks !
There used to be some "fireless cookers" .You got your food and pot hot then put it in a very well insulated container .The food continues to cook for a long time. Your 'rock pot' is a similar idea. You might Google 'fireless cookers' ,maybe they're still available.
