here's something different but tasty
take a box of saltine crackers and spread them out in a tupperware box
1 cup olive oil
3 oz dry ranch dressing
3 tablespoons red pepper flakes(or for charlie the whole jar)
2 oz garlic powder
drizzle the oil on the crackers and dust with the spice mixture
leave in the container for about 20 min flipping it over every 5 minutes
find a good movie, a quart of beer and a comfy chair

Also works well w/ oyster crackers.
Can also sub tabasco for the red pepper flakes.

Interesting idea.

I'm not sure how the recipes would compare but my wife made a similar appetizer some years back. They were very tasty. Naturally I haven't had it since then. Time, and wives, move on.
