I've got trees dumping persimmons and walnuts everywhere. Does anyone have any recipes that can utilize them?

Get any banana nut bread recipe and use the persimmons in lieu of the bananas and the black walnuts instead of the other nut. The orange color changes to a brown-purple but the bread/muffins are great with coffee!

Thanks. Odessa Country Club used to have a signature small walnut muffin that was outstanding. Wished I had that recipe.

These will make a gallon at a time, but if you already have the equipment for 5 gallons, so much the better! I can provide a recipe for the nut brown ale, if you would like to make it from scratch.
