I just happened across a reference about aluminum cookware being banned in certain countries. Here is the basic statement:

Note: The sale of aluminum cookware is prohibited in Germany, France, Belgium, Gr. Britain Switzerland, Hungary and Brazil

Is this true or just another legend? Or can residents of any of the above mentioned countries verify or debunk this?
I suspect it is yet another internet legend but it would be interesting to hear from the global community!

But they've never found a distinct connection.

It's like the claim that austism is caused by the antibacterial agent in injections. That's never been found.Latest for autism is that much of it is environmental .Things like pesticides which entter the child when still in the womb [Recent CA report] !! and now they also have found a genetic defect that can be part of the problem ! www.sciencedaily.com is a good source for info

As a blanket statement it is complete BS. Harrod's in London sells Mauviel French cookware, at least one set of which is anodized aluminum.

I find it suspicious that all the sights that say that are at best suspect for their motives and they ALL use exactly the same phrase.

Zinc is an essential mineral !!! In small amounts but toxic in large amounts . And it's not a "trace" element but needed in fair amounts. One sign of not enough zinc is white spots on your fingernails.
