......I read an article about Greenberg Turkeys of Tyler, Tx on TMBBQ.com and ordered 3, one for each of two close friends and business associates and one for us. Really exceptionally fine eating. Highly recommended. I'll link to the article later. Going out with lovely wife to drink some Sam Adams and have dinner. tu2

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

Christmas without a Greenberg Turkey just isn't the same. Been munching on them since the 80's.

You wait until AFTER the holidays to tell me about this? Damn! I hope I can remember next Thanksgiving. They sound great.

I'm surprised being a Tyler company that I never heard about Greenberg's. I worked for Delta Drilling Co. for eleven years ('78 to '89) in Odessa and the corporate office was in Tyler. I was probably in town at least four times a year for meetings.

Kensco:

Their turkeys make a SUPERB turkey sandwich. Like many people, I'm usually a twice a year turkey consumer, ie. Thanksgiving and Christmas, unless we substitute on one of those days but these darn turkeys are so good, that I'm already considering picking up another one when I go to the Tyler area.

Like Opus1 said, why wait? If you like turkey, I'll guarantee you'll like it.
