Tuesady night I shot a little 8 pt (18" outside)with my bow. 15 yds thru the liver, ran 20+ yds and fell over. Who needs a magnum rifle for these little things? He ran 140 lbs and I did the back straps tonight for dinner.

I sliced them a half inch thick and did a soy sauce, ginger and vinagar marinade for 4 hours. Brushed them with sesame oil and and soy and sprinkled some pepper, salt and garlic on them and then put under the broiler for 6 minutes per side and served them with rice and Mandrin oranges and the backstarps were wonderful!!

The rest of him will be jerky....he'll be gone next week!!

The year of the .30-06!!
100 years of mostly flawless performance on demand.....Celebrate...buy a new one!!
